Sign-Up Goes Live on April 5th at 8PM EDT!!
IMPORTANT INFO:
We are accepting up to 10 participants in the lectures and mentored flight sessions each weekend. We are accepting an additional 5 participants for the second weekend who will ONLY fly their own ship (will not fly in a dual sailplane with a mentor). You don't have to participate in BOTH weekends. You can choose one OR both (or neither....keep reading). If you need help with thermaling but don't feel ready to embark on a cross country flight, then only sign-up for Weekend #1 Thermal Camp. If you are confident in your thermal skills (say you have your Silver Duration Leg or routinely stay aloft for +2 hours) but you just can't seem to leave the nest, then only sign-up for Weekend #2 XC/OLC Camp. If you have flown some cross country (say you have a Silver Badge) but you'd like to learn more and improve your skills, then sign-up for Weekend #2 XC/OLC Camp and let us know that you'll be flying your own ship only. If you need to polish your thermaling skills AND you also want some mentored flying on XC tasks, then sign-up for BOTH weekends!
If you just want to go fly your sailplane at a different location and have some fun with a diverse group of fellow soaring pilots, then sign-up for Ad Hoc flying and let us know when you will be onsite. Ad hoc flying is available during both of the weekends and also on the weekdays. Knowing how many are coming will helps us plan for crews and towing. Again, you must register to participate. We will not accommodate 'walk-ups'.
